Our world is filled with technological advances. Sometimes they happen so fast, products and systems are quickly outdated. But what about the generations of people who never had these advances when they were younger? How do you introduce them to new products without confusing them, or scaring them away?
The best way to introduce people to new technologies is to find the ones that pertain to them the most. This would be for example, advances in cell phones.
Almost everyone owns a cell phone. Well, the newer smart phones can seem too complicated for those who don’t understand how to use it. With the proper training, people can soon learn how to text message, send a picture or video, and even communicate through email from their phones.
Another example of a new piece of technology to introduce would be laptops and a wireless home network. Again, like cell phones, most people have an internet connection. By use of a laptop and a wireless router, someone who isn’t familiar with technology can easily learn how to setup their own wireless network at home. This allows them to create a more easy way to use their laptop and the internet.
With the internet, those people can now learn the benefits of social networking sites to get back in touch with old friends, or to stay in touch with family that may live at a distance.
